Monday Night Football will feature two teams that are hoping to make some noise in the postseason this year. The Philadelphia Eagles will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons hired Raheem Morris as their head coach after he spent the last three seasons as the Los Angeles Rams‘ offensive coordinator. His mission is simple: get more out of young weapons like running back Bijan Robinson and tight end Kyle Pitts. Part of that also involves bringing in quarterback Kirk Cousins as the team’s new quarterback to hopefully jump-start a team that has been stagnant for a while now.
The Eagles are a team that should expect postseason success, but they had a messy end to last season, where the very chemistry of the team and coaches were questioned. They didn’t make any wholesale changes.
In fact, things are largely the same aside from the additions like running back Saquon Barkley from the New York Giants. There is no doubt this team has the talent to win games, but we have to see them pull it off again.
