The under-appreciated Steven Jackson and many more
Picking favorites is rarely easy, especially if the pool of choices is as vast as the history of the Rams. On Wednesday, I opened the floor to Rams fans by asking a series of questions centered around your favorite players of all-time and the answers guide us down a memory lane of 90 years of franchise history.
Remarkably, one such player who has risen above many of those Hall of Famers, All-Pros, and Super Bowl champions is a player who goes under the radar for most fans who haven’t followed the Rams.
Steven Jackson, the Rams all-time leading rusher by a wide margin at 10,138 yards.

Jackson’s name came up often in Wednesday’s comments section. As did the Hall of Famers, the MVPs, and the Super Bowl champions.
Thank you to everyone who shared their insights and stories for the Reverse Q and A, here’s a review of what you said and why you said it.
For those of you who did not participate, do you also have these same favorite players — appreciated and under-appreciated — on your list?

In 1989 the narrative for this playoff matchup between LA and Philadelphia was that the sunny side Rams could not come into a cold climate against a tough defensive adversary and escape with a victory. @Jim_Everett and the Rams proved victorious 21-7 pic.twitter.com/6tQrO8vhxV

Shout outs for Steven Jackson:
Jackson endured hardships by playing on some of the worst Rams teams in franchise history, but he made the Pro Bowl in 2006, 2009, and 2010. Jackson had eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and led the NFL with 2,334 total yards in 2006.
Pop Quiz: Without looking it up, can you recall the last team that Jackson ever played for?

Historic moment here in a fight between Jack Reynolds and Marty Schottenheimer:
1976: Rams Week- #NYGiants lost 24-10 at LA, but not without a fight, literally. At the end of the game, assistant coach Marty Schottenheimer got in a tussle with Jack Reynolds as the clock wound down & former NYG Fred Dryer came in as a peace maker. #BEGIANT pic.twitter.com/VjkOLpjpsJ
