X/Twitter reacts to Raiders’ big upset
There were plenty of moments in the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 2 upset over the Baltimore Ravens where the Raiders looked like they were dead in the water. Las Vegas faced two 10-point deficits in the second half; 16-6 at the beginning of the third quarter and 23-13 during the fourth quarter.
However, quarterback Gardner Minshew seemed to catch fire by targeting wide receiver Davante Adams and rookie tight end Brock Bowers down the stretch of the game. Adams finished with nine catches for 110 yards and his first touchdown of the season while Bowers also had nine grabs for 98 yards and several big first downs.
That combined with Daniel Carlson going four for four on his field goal attempts along with a stout defense led by Maxx Crosby (six total tackles, two sacks, four TFL and a pass defended) and linebacker Robert Spillane (10 total tackles and two passes defended) helped the Raiders pull off the comeback/upset!
Las Vegas is now 1-1, leading to some victory cigars in the locker room.

This catch by Adams was one of the many catalysts for the Raiders at the end of the game.

A historic comeback for the team.
The #Raiders win, 26-23.
The last time the Raiders won a game in which they trailed by 10+ points in the 4th quarter was 9/11/2016 at New Orleans (down 24-13, won 35-34).

This leadership move by Crosby seems to have paid off at the end of the game as Minshew stepped up.
Can’t measure culture
The #Raiders offense struggled early. After a Gardner Minshew pick late in Q2, Maxx Crosby picked him up.
That belief helped the offense score on 4 straight second half drives, putting up 13 unanswered points to upset the Ravens. pic.twitter.com/5HuRYm37us
