The Browns got a much-needed win earlier today, defeating the Jaguars 18-13. But tonight is about Sunday Night Football, as the Chicago Bears take on the Houston Texans. Cleveland fans are rightfully high on the Texans’ prospects, given the fact that they were the team that eliminated the Browns in the playoffs last year. Houston had the offensive punch in their Week 1 win against the Colts last week, with C.J. Stroud and Joe Mixon delivering the goods.
The Bears, meanwhile, have the chances to be an exciting team, but their offense was sparse. With that said, they still managed to score a defensive touchdown and a special teams touchdown to get a true team win.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Texans are 6.5 point favorites against the Bears. Houston’s defense isn’t the best, but their offense should have the ability to put points on the board against the Bears, and I’ll take them to cover the spread with at least a touchdown margin. Texans 24, Bears 17
