Biggest Questions Facing New York Giants’ Offense in 2025 | SI.com

Can Andrew Thomas compete for the majority of the season?

Anyone capable of starting at a decent level at the position over a long period has a home already. And it’s worth noting that the Giants are 3-15 in the 18 games Thomas has missed over the last two seasons. While you cannot definitively say that these losses are all because of Thomas’s absence, it is a big reason and not one to be taken lightly.

Even though the Giants have addressed tackle in free agency and the draft, nobody is Thomas. Hopefully, the medical staff can find a way to keep him on the field for the season, as no one on the offensive line opens bigger holes in the run game or blocks out the sun in pass protection.

Justin Tuck takes his turn talking to Giants

Giants’ Brian Daboll made this wisecrack to Abdul Carter about pursuing retired number | NJ.com

Giants legend Lawrence Taylor spoke to the team — or at least to its defensive players — on Thursday, as coach Brian Daboll‘s fourth group continues with spring workouts.

Then, from somewhere off camera, Daboll couldn’t resist making a wisecrack directed at his prized rookie pass rusher. “Abdul, you know this guy?” Daboll said.

Most underappreciated NFL players: Top candidate for each NFC team entering 2025 season | NFL.com

New York Giants RT Jermaine Eluemunor. A versatile offensive lineman who began his NFL career at guard, Eluemunor started last season as New York’s right tackle, but injuries eventually forced him over to the blind side. Starting the final four games of the season at LT, the London native allowed just one sack and two pressures, according to PFF. With Andrew Thomas returning to health, Eluemunor will be back at RT for a contract season in 2025. Although the Giants are his fourth NFL team, the former fifth-round pick could be due for a healthy raise if he continues to thrive. And an influx of loot could come in handy, as the big man has an eye for style.

Every NFL Team’s Top Roster Needs, Trade Assets and Cap Space After 2025 Draft | Bleacher Report

The Giants have completely changed their quarterback room, but it’s going to stay at the top of their list of needs until we see proof of concept. The Steelers chose to let Wilson walk and roll the dice on their quarterback situation. Dart is a compelling prospect but will likely need time to transition from Lane Kiffin’s RPO-heavy system to an NFL scheme.

The Giants have the least amount of cap space in the league, so some kind of move should be coming to alleviate some of that. Kayvon Thibodeaux is a prime trade candidate after they drafted Abdul Carter, but Jameis Winston could be appealing to another team as well.

Baldy breaks down Darius Alexander

Highest-graded player at every position from the 2024 NFL Draft | PFF

WR: Malik Nabers, New York Giants (86.7). Unlike at the running back position, the 2024 wide receiver class was full of hype. Malik Nabers was the second receiver off the board and the No. 6 pick in the draft, and his 86.7 PFF overall grade was the best among wide receivers in the class. Nabers caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season, setting the record for the most catches by a rookie wide receiver in NFL history.

He was electric with the ball in his hands, too: His 19 missed tackles forced were the most in the class and tied for the fifth most among all receivers. At just 21 years old, Nabers is becoming one of the best receivers in the league. And the sky looks to be the limit.

Simms: Russell Wilson’s Leadership Style Fell On ‘Deaf Ears’ With Steelers | Steelers Depot

Chris Simms heard from people he trusts with the Steelers that Russell Wilson’s leadership style fell flat in Pittsburgh.
