Here are the players who won’t play today for the Giants
New York Giants linebacker Darius Muasau has gone from playing well enough to keep starter Micah McFadden on the bench in his first NFL game, to fined $4,696 for an apparent hio-drop tackle, to out of Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Washington Commanders with a knee injury.
Muasau and cornerback Nick McCloud were ruled out on Friday with knee injuries.

With Muasau sidelined, McFadden should see a full load of snaps. Head coach Brian Daboll said last week that McFadden was a on a pitch count as he returned from a hip injury, and that Muasau played well enough that the coaching staff decided not to risk McFadden.
McCloud’s absence on defense might be that significant with Adoree’ Jackson and Cor’Dale Flott healthy, though he will be missed on special teams.
The Giants on Saturday elevated linebackers Ty Summers and Tomon Fox for Sunday’s game.
