Vote to decide fate of Eagles’ Tush Push expected this week – NBCSP
We should learn about the fate of the Eagles’ signature play, the Tush Push, this week. After the rule change discussion was tabled at the NFL owners meetings in Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this offseason, owners have more meetings scheduled this week on Tuesday and Wednesday in Minneapolis. The proposal is expected to come to a vote this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported the Eagles are continuing to make calls to support the play. The debate was tabled on April 1 after the Green Bay Packers’ proposal to eliminate the play didn’t have enough support. Any rule change would need support from 24 of 32 owners and this one was reportedly split 16-16 after a straw poll in the room.

Most experienced 2025 NFL draft classes, ranked by snaps played – PFF
8. Philadelphia Eagles: 19,272 snaps. The Eagles did what they do best — waited patiently and scooped up a top defensive talent who slipped down the board. This year, it was Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, who earned an 81.6 grade in his junior season. Campbell played 1,325 snaps in college and showcased his growing versatility in 2024. While most of his work came in the box, he also logged 112 snaps as a stand-up edge rusher and 27 in the slot last season. Five of the Eagles’ draft picks played over 2,000 college snaps, with fourth-rounder Ty Robinson leading the way. The Nebraska defensive lineman played six seasons and lined up all over the front. His 2,550 career snaps include 1,333 in the B-gap, 642 over the tackle, 313 in the A-gap and 253 outside the tackle. He wrapped up his college career with a 75.1 grade in 2024, providing the Eagles with a seasoned, versatile presence up front.
Money, Not Words, May Prevent Eagles From Swinging Trade For Top Defender – SI
Ramsey is four years younger than Slay, the cornerback the Eagles let leave to the Steelers during the offseason. He’s also much more expensive than Slay. He signed a three-year extension worth $72.1 million with the Dolphins just last September and is salary-cap charges are ridiculously high – $16.6 million this year, $25M in 2026, $26.8M in 2027, and $36.1 in 2028 when Ramsey will be 34.This is where a deal probably falls apart for the Eagles, unless Miami is willing to eat most of the money then it may be too prohibitive. If the Dolphins do eat money, that would probably make the deal sweeter in terms of what they would get back in a trade. The Eagles have draft collateral, with an expected 13 picks in next year’s draft. What Philly doesn’t have is the money to afford anything near that contract with some of their own players coming up for new deals.
Washington Commanders way too early 53-man roster projection – Hogs Haven

Why Brian Schottenheimer’s first year as head coach could go better than expected for the Cowboys – Blogging The Boys
The upcoming season should be an interesting year for the Cowboys. People aren’t expecting much from them because recency bias looms heavy, and even when the team has been good, they’re just never good enough. The doubt is understandable. But if you look at the big picture, there are many factors that could see this team having more success than some are expecting. This shouldn’t be your typical rebuild season we normally see in the NFL after a new coaching change.
Three lingering Cowboys roster questions ahead of OTAs – ESPN
Who is the nickel cornerback? Jourdan Lewis cashed in with the Jacksonville Jaguars (three years, $30 million max), leaving a hole on the field and in the locker room. How the Cowboys deal with the position is partially health-related. Diggs might not be ready when the season starts. Third-round pick Shavon Revel Jr. is expected to be able to practice at some point in training camp, as he works his way back from a torn left ACL suffered in September. Caelen Carson is coming back from offseason shoulder surgery. In 2022, DaRon Bland worked the slot after Lewis suffered a severe foot injury. In 2023, he set an NFL record with five interception returns for touchdown and led the league with nine picks. He missed 10 games in 2024 with a stress fracture in his left foot. Bland can handle the role if needed, but he might be too valuable as an outside corner. Elam has played outside. So has Carson. Revel will be asked to adapt to the NFL while coming back from the knee injury, so moving him inside could be a tough ask. If it’s not Bland, then who? Perhaps the Cowboys look to the free agent market as a stop-gap measure.
I simulated the New York Giants’ 2025 season 100 times, so what did I learn? – Big Blue View
This is the question on everyone’s mind. Last year, the simulations predicted a 5-12 season for the Giants (4.77 wins on average), with 4-13 as the most common result. This year, the simulations predict a similar 5-12 record, but with an interesting twist. The average wins is actually a bit worse, at 4.67 wins, however the most common result was a 6-11 season (22 instances).
When will NFL rookie QBs make their debuts? Here’s our best guess based on 2025 schedule – SB Nation
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants: Week 15 vs. Washington. In the days leading up to the 2025 NFL Schedule Release, there were rumors of a difficult start to the year for the New York Giants. Those rumors were proven correct. New York begins the year with two divisional games on the road, starting at Washington and then going to Dallas. Their home opener comes in Week 3, when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs come to town. Then there are games against the Chargers, New Orleans, and Philadelphia — on a short week — to close out their first six games ahead of a mini-bye week before they play at Denver, and then at Philadelphia. That is a tough stretch, and a good reason the Giants have both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston on the roster. But when it comes to rookie Jaxson Dart, the Giants will want to see him on the field this year. While there might not be an ideal time for that debut, Week 13 against New England might be an option as it comes on a Monday night, giving him an extra day of preparation, the better choice might come in Week 15. Yes, it is a game against the Commanders, but it comes after a bye week, and it is a home game for the Giants. Dart will get an extra week of preparation and a chance to show what he can do down the stretch.
Broncos LB Alex Singleton on ACL rehab: You can see where I’m at in a few weeks at practice – NFL.com
Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton sounds antsy to get back on the field. After playing in just three games in 2024 due to an ACL tear, the linebacker remains on track to be ready for the 2025 campaign. He also expressed optimism that he’ll be on the field for OTAs, which kick off on May 27 for Denver. “I can’t give specific numbers, but we have practices in a few weeks and you guys can see for yourselves where I’m at,” Singleton said last week during a charity event, via Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post.
