Guessing this game might be a little more competitive than the one from February.
The reigning Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles will be facing the reigning Super Bowl loser Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL schedule, according to a report from Jeff McLane.
This September 14 game (hey, the Eagles ARE actually playing on a Sunday this year!) will air on FOX starting at 4:25 PM Eastern, according to a report from Jordan Schultz.
The Eagles will be playing on the road at “GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.” The Birds previously won there in a regular season rematch of Super Bowl LVII during the 2023 season.
That game was a competitive one that came down to the wire. The guess here is that this season’s matchup will more closely resemble that one than it does the total blowout that was Super Bowl LIX.
Although it’d be pretty cool for Eagles fans to see their team totally stomp Patrick Mahomes once again.
The Eagles have a slight rest advantage for this Week 2 game since they open the season in the NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, September 4. The Chiefs play the next night in Brazil on Friday, September 5.
