This past week, before the Buffalo Bills visited South Florida to take on our Miami Dolphins, I asked the following questions-
If you could steal any player from the Buffalo Bills roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?
Here are some of your answers-
Alpha6 kicks us off with the answer we will sadly get every week I post this question.
ANY 1st or 2nd string O-lineman…
sdphinsfan says to steal any tight end that they have as an upgrade.
Any of their TE’s would be an upgrade over what we have so give me one of those guys. JA’s ability to run has always presented a problem. But where we’ve really struggled is with their TE’s in the pass game.
MiamiSkye wants a solid backup.
Josh Allen. We need a backup QB.
dolphinfan1323 seconds Jonny’s thoughts.
Offense lineman whoever their best one is particularly at guard
Reid305 is looking for an upgrade at tight end or linebacker.
Dalton Kincaid and I really like their LBer Terrel Bernard. Bernard would have been drafted higher if not for injuries…
21Dave wants a QB, DT, and OL.
Allan, Oliver and Dawkins
Dolfanjoe, baby bear1, herbert pollack, NRBNRB, phinette, Jsutton15#2, heatforlife, and clunk all had one move in mind!
Most any team in the league would exchange QBs with the Bills! No reason for us not to!
FinscallyIrresponsible wants a tight-end upgrade but not an Allen.
Dalton Kincaid. Immediate upgrade to TE position. And just say no to Mr. Turnover Josh Allen.
SlayerNation1 may want an upgrade at defensive coordinator.
Possibly, McDermott as DC. Ask Me Thursday 11pm. Weaver may change my mind.
I also asked-
A) What will be the final score in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Buffalo Bills?
B) Who will be the stars of the game on offense and defense for our Miami Dolphins in this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills?
Below are some of your answers and thoughts on these two question-
daytonadolfan like many of us was optimistic.
34-24 Fins baby!
CleoTorres was sadly close to hitting on the exact score.
34-17 Barfallow. No stars because we get spanked again. Rinse and repeat.
Saskatchefin also had high hopes.
33-27 for the dolphins. Jaylin Wright goes off for 105 yds rushing and 30 receiving with 2 TDS Josh Allen throws 2 picks and fumbles 2.
Spok507 tried to be positive so props for that.
I’d like to be confident Miami will win, but until they actually do beat the Bills, I can’t. they also haven’t been impressive in prime time games, but hope springs eternal. That being said, I’m going to be positive and give us a 24-20 victory. I think Poyer will ball out against his old team with an INT, and Josh Allen will be playing hero ball in the 4th quarter to make it uncomfortable. He says he’s fine, but with a left hand injury, it could effect the way he moves with the ball a little, so maybe he doesn’t try to run as much and maybe he doesn’t secure the ball and fumbles. I would love to see the offense improved from last week. they’ll probably play 2-high safeties, so let’s see what Jonnu Smith can do underneath this week. If Achane plays, he’ll hopefully have a good game, and I suspect we’ll get a look at what Wright can do. Hopefully, Buffalo’s defense isn’t ready for that. Let’s go Fins!!
EzDz73 had more positivity.
Fins with the win at home 24-20. Let’s go!! I need Tua to play well this game. At a minimum give me 17 pts. LOL. He’s my emergency fantasy qb since my starter went down.
TheRoo1 is another sad one among us.
Phins up, 28-27 Tua throws for 2 TD’s and carries another. Chop stays in Allen’s face all night.
FinscallyIrresponsible didn’t know that tiny defense was going to stymie us.
Bill’s defense is tiny and ours is better. As long as MM keeps a balance between run and pass we’ll win. 27-21.
Dolfanjoe saw the loss coming!
27 to 20 Buffaloe. Allen shows why he is considered a top 3 QB! Only keeping the run game going could change this outcome, just do not see McD sticking with it!
Yarganaught did at least hit on Achanes receiving numbers with him hitting 69 yards on 7 receptions for one touchdown.
Score: Miami 35-13; Offense: Achane for 125yrds on the ground and another 25 receiving; Defense: Secondary shuts down Barfalo’s WRs
NCSurferMike was hoping it was a sign.
It is world dolphin day today…. So Fins win 34-17
SlayerNation1 knew the Phins would lose but just didn’t know how ugly it was going to be.
Bills 29 Fins 24. Tua and Sieler. This one is teed up for MIA, another home game, BUF travels on a short week after a shootout win. BUF is vulnerable. This was the year McD and Tua go next level. Tua is living up to his end so far and McD is static, if not regressing. Incident aside, His gameplan was a losing gameplan in Week 1 if Holland doesn’t deodorize the stench. McD was extended to win this matchup and until He shows preparedness, I don’t trust him in a big spot with the world watching. Wash, rinse, repeat. Allen keeps extending drives, McD has them sleepwalking, slow and overthinking playcalling. We all vomit, induced by another Mike “adversity” speech. Hope I am eating my words 24 hours from now.
phinette is dissapoined along with the rest of us.
Dolphins 34-31; Tua- 3 TDs-1 INT 340 yards 2 sacks; Waddle-120 yards; Cheetah-105 yards; Defense 2 sacks 1 INT
Tua2HillWaddle had the same high hopes that we all did.
Fins 34-17. O – Tua 26/34 for over 400 yard and 3 td’s. D – JP 2 sacks and a pic 6.
MiamiSkye was with most of us, unfortunately.
Dolphins 30 Bill’s 27; Tua 300+; Bills star nickel CB Johnson is out so I expect some mismatches with Waddle having a big game; Smythe will score a TD; Holland will get an INT
David7777 was hoping, we were all hoping…
Buffalo has lost 3 of their last 4 games against the Jaguars. They do not match up well against them. So if Tua and the defense plays like they did in the second half on Sunday, then the Bills will not win unless we turn the ball over multiple times. Dolphins 34 Bills 14
Alpha6 was really, really optimistic!
Dolphins 55 Bills 13; O-Star Jaylen Wright; D-Star Jordyn Brooks
Louie the lobster heard some things. Next time! We will get them next time…damn it!
You heard it here first… Dolphins win 31-26; Star on Offense – Waddle (7 rec for 145 yards); Star on defense – Campbell (2 TFLs, 1 FF and .5 sacks)
Phinsox wanted what we all wanted.
Dolphins win 31-20. Jaylen Wright and Zach Sieler star but the Dolphins uniforms shine brightest. It’s early in the season. This is the kind of game the Dolphins win. They will have something to prove when more pressure is on in November in Buffalo.
BonJonBovi had us winning big. If only!
4 big TO’s from JA leads to a big Miami win 48-20 Dolphins
Well that game went south really quick so most of our predictions were in the dumpster before the end of the half. Here’s to hoping that Tua is going to be all right and that McDaniel and company take this disaster and figure out how to turn it around fast. Thank you as always to everyone who took the time to comment on our question of the day posts. I will return next week with some more questions as we head towards our game away against the Seattle Seahawks.
