The Bengals took to the field, though several big names were missing.
The Cincinnati Bengals kicked off Phase 2 of their 2025 offseason program on Tuesday, taking the outdoor practice field next to the stadium for the first time this week.

Many players that make up the team’s core were there, with some key exceptions, including star quarterback Joe Burrow, who attended the Met Galla Monday night.
Trey Hendrickson, Zack Moss, Germaine Pratt, and Erick All were absent, but none of those names should come as much of a surprise considering Hendrickson’s contract situation and Pratt’s trade request.
Running down the full #Bengals absences/injuries:
Burrow (Gala)
Charlie Jones (here, no jersey)
Dax Hill/Burgess (here, rehab field)
Zack Moss (neck)
Pratt (trade request)
Erick All (knee)
Hendrickson ( )

The big news right out of the gate is a possible BJ Hill injury. He was seen walking around the field in a walking boot on his left foot. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, because Al Golden will need Hill to be full go to help the Bengals’ defensive front to have a bounce-back season.

Charlie Jones was on the field as well (without a jersey) and had a catapult brace on, but he was running routes and catching passes.

Jones will hopefully work his way on the field this season, but he’s got a loaded wide receiver room in front of him, including the best wide receiver duo in the league.

With Burrow missing, backups Jake Browning and Logan Woodside went through quarterback drills.

There isn’t much we can glean from such an early organized practice as some were missing, and the Bengals, like all the other teams across the NFL, are very early in the process.
However, this is a welcome site.
