Terrance Ferguson was the first player selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2025 NFL Draft and I was surprised they went tight end a year after signing Colby Parkinson, and Tyler Higbee looked alright last year (when he played), so I didn’t think TE was a huge need, but what do I know?

Analyst says this was Rams’ most questionable pick in 2025 NFL Draft (ramswire)

“The Ferguson selection is a bit complicated for reasons to be explained,” Edwards wrote. “He has prototypical size for the position and tested off the charts at the NFL Scouting Combine. After attempting to trade up for Brock Bowers a year ago, it was clear that Los Angeles was searching for a tight end who could stretch the field for them. Ferguson is high-waisted and change of direction limits his ability to make plays after the catch. With that being said, he ends up with Sean McVay, who will no doubt turn him into a star.”

ESPN analyst thinks Rams will replace Matthew Stafford with this QB in 2026 (ramswire/sports.yahoo)

“Here’s Matthew Stafford’s heir apparent. Stafford will turn 38 before the 2026 season, so this is a great spot for the Rams to pick Nussmeier, whose 79.1 QBR ranked 11th in the FBS in 2024,” Reid wrote. “Nussmeier’s arm is more flexible than powerful, and his anticipation skills result in some of the most exciting throws I’ve seen on tape. Interceptions are an issue — he threw multiple picks in four games last season — but he could be a first-round pick if he cleans those up.”
