This year’s class is officially complete.
The Philadelphia Eagles entered the 2025 NFL Draft with eight picks and they left with 10 new rookies. Here’s a recap of this year’s draft class!
OVERVIEW
1 (31) – LB Jihaad Campbell
2 (64) – S Andrew Mukuba
4 (111) – DT Ty Robinson
AD
5 (145) – CB Mac McWilliams
5 (161) – LB Smael Mondon Jr.
5 (168) – C/G Drew Kendall
6 (181) – QB Kyle McCord
6 (191) – OT Myles Hinton
6 (207) – OT Cameron Williams
6 (209) – EDGE Antwaun Powell-Ryland
JIHAAD CAMPBELL
The Eagles wanted to trade up for Campbell as early as No. 22 but they ultimately needed to trade up just one pick to get him at No. 31. Howie Roseman said he was a top 10 talent on the Birds’ board. There are medical questions about Campbell and it remains to be seen exactly where he’ll line up in the Eagles’ defense. Ultimately, there’s reason to believe that Vic Fangio will help maximize his potential. Campbell has plenty of experience playing off the ball and he has pass rush upside.

ANDREW MUKUBA
The Eagles needed a safety after trading C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans. The play-making Mukuba can potentially take over where CJGJ left off. At the very least, he figures to be in a position battle with Sydney Brown for the starting job next to Reed Blankenship.

TY ROBINSON
Milton Williams left the Eagles and Jordan Davis is currently set to be a free agent after 2025 (we’ll see if they pick up his fifth-year option for 2026 prior to this year’s May 2 deadline). They were in a position to add more defensive tackle help and they did that by drafting Robinson. He can contribute to a rotation that will also feature Jalen Carter, Moro Ojomo, and Davis.

MAC MCWILLIAMS
Double Mac has experience playing both outside and nickel cornerback. He’s on the smaller side and he has short arms, though, so he’s probably best suited for the slot in the NFL. McWilliams could be a backup to Cooper DeJean who also contributes on special teams.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Mac McWilliams at No. 145
Eagles draft another smaller DB, but he’s versatile and tough
SMAEL MONDON JR.
Nakobe Dean could miss time early in the 2025 season after getting hurt in the playoffs. Mondon Jr. figures to provide linebacker depth and contribute on special teams. He could eventually develop into a starter. It’d be a good outcome if he turns into an Oren Burks replacement.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Smael Mondon Jr. at No. 161
DREW KENDALL
His college experience is limited to playing the pivot but the Eagles are listing him as a “center/guard.” Kendall could help to provide more depth behind starting center Cam Jurgens.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Drew Kendall at No. 168
KYLE MCCORD
The QB Factory keeps churning. McCord will likely compete with Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the emergency third quarterback role behind reigning Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts and top backup Tanner McKee. McKee only has two years left on his rookie contract, so, the Eagles could conceivably trade him next offseason. McCord could develop into the future QB2.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick QB Kyle McCord at No. 181
MYLES HINTON
Hinton has experience at both left tackle and right tackle. He could eventually develop into the top swing tackle behind the two starters.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Myles Hinton at No. 191
CAMERON WILLIAMS
There was thought that Williams should’ve stayed in college to get more experience. The 21-year-old has great physical tools but he’s probably going to need time to develop. Williams could eventually be a starter if Jeff Stoutland works his magic and everything clicks for him.
NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Cameron Williams at No. 207
ANTWAUN POWELL-RYLAND
Though undersized, APR posted good athletic testing numbers and he was a very productive pass rusher at Virginia Tech. There are definitely way worse Day 3 gambles out there. Perhaps APR will work his way into the Eagles’ edge defender rotation at some point in time.
TRADE CONSIDERATIONS
- By trading down this year, the Eagles acquired one pick in the 2026 NFL Draft: a fifth-round selection from the Atlanta Falcons. This means they’re now projected to have 12 picks next year … with five of them coming before Day 3 begins.

- For the second year in a row, the Eagles did not trade for a veteran player during the draft (they previously dealt for A.J. Brown in 2022 and D’Andre Swift in 2023). But they sure have plenty of 2026 picks to make a trade (or more) before the 2025 season begins.
UDFA
The Eagles aren’t done adding rookie talent to their roster; they’ll be immediately signing more players in undrafted free agency. Philadelphia has been able to find some UDFA contributors in recent years such as Reed Blankenship, Britain Covey, Eli Ricks, Ben VanSumeren, etc. We’ll see if Roseman can find some more diamonds in the rough.
WORK TO BE DONE
- The Eagles didn’t add a tight end despite endless rumors about Dallas Goedert being a goner. Will the Eagles find a way to keep Goedert on a revised contract? They simply can’t move on from him unless they have a good replacement plan and there isn’t one currently in place.
.@RapSheet says the Eagles “would like to keep” Dallas Goedert.
