What do you think of the pick, folks!
After waiting literally all night, including making a trade down from #97 to #102 overall, the Minnesota Vikings finally got to participate in Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft, using the final selection of the third round to select Maryland WR Tai Felton.
Felton set the Terrapins’ school record for receptions in 2024 when he hauled in 96 passes. He wound up with 1,124 yards on the season, which is some pretty solid production. . .solid enough to garner him First-Team All-Big Ten honors.
From the scouting reports, Felton is already a quality route runner and he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, so he has solid top-end speed as well. It’s going to be interesting to see how Kevin O’Connell and company choose to work him into the offense, and depending on Jordan Addison’s situation, it’s likely he’s going to be called on to contribute pretty early on.
We want your initial reactions to the selection of Tai Felton here, folks. Let us know what you think and sound off in the comments section.
