Looking at some of Philadelphia’s options in Round 2 and Round 3.
The 2025 NFL Draft is off to an exciting start for the Philadelphia Eagles after unexpectedly landing Jihaad Campbell at No. 31. Can the Birds keep the excitement going on Friday night as they enter Day 2 with two picks to make?
We shall see!
While we wait for the action to start back up, let’s look at the potential options available to them at No. 64 and No. 96.
Bleeding Green Nation (Ben Natan)
64. PHI- Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina: The Eagles broke with convention when they drafted a linebacker with their first pick. Now they can double down on trend breaking by spending a high pick on a safety. Nick Emmanwori has the athleticism and physicality to thrive as an NFL in the slot or deep down the field. His talent would give the Eagles yet another versatile weapon on their increasingly position-less defense.
96. PHI- Nohl Williams, CB, California: Competition at the other cornerback spot is going to be really important this offseason. Nohl Williams has the length and ball skills to compete at an NFL level. He would be an excellent addition to a young and talented secondary.
SB Nation (Mark Schofield)
64) Philadelphia Eagles: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami: With questions about the future of Dallas Goedert in Philadelphia surfacing, Elijah Arroyo from Miami is an intriguing option for the Eagles.
PhillyVoice (Jimmy Kempski)
64) Eagles: Aireontae Ersery, OL, Minnesota: While he didn’t play guard in college (aside from 3 snaps), Ersery has the skill set to do so, and might make sense as a RG of the present, RT of the future.
NFL.com (Eric Edholm)
64. Benjamin Harrison, CB, Notre Dame. If there’s a team that can — and would — take a risk on a top-50 talent with injury questions such as Morrison, it’s the Eagles.
96. Jaylen Reed, S, Penn State
Pro Football Focus
64. Philadelphia Eagles: DI T.J. Sanders, South Carolina: Sanders is a true 3-technique who wins with linear and lateral quickness to shoot gaps and disrupt. He must improve his hand precision and play strength to be a full-time starter. At worst, he is a contributing rotational 3-technique.
96. Philadelphia Eagles: WR Savion Williams, TCU: Williams’ stats won’t “wow” evaluators, but his tape and his measurables sure will. He’s a very versatile and potentially high-impact NFL player on the line, in the backfield or as a returner.
The Athletic (Nick Baumgardner)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Jack Sawyer, edge, Ohio State: A powerful, physical and highly competitive presence on the edge, Sawyer is a passionate defender and got better every year at Ohio State. Another potential defensive standout from an elite college program for the Eagles.
96. Philadelphia Eagles: Lathan Ransom, S, Ohio State
ESPN (Matt Miller)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami: The run of tight end Dallas Goedert might be nearing an end in Philadelphia. No team better prepares for the future by addressing needs than general manager Howie Roseman’s crew, and Arroyo is the type of speedy seam buster the Eagles could use.
CBS Sports (Chris Trapasso)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State: Porter is too naturally gifted for the Eagles to pass on him here.
No. 96: Philadelphia Eagles: Savion Williams, WR, TCU
NBC Sports (Eric Froton)
(64) Philadelphia Eagles: Kevin Winston Jr, S, Penn State
(96) Philadelphia Eagles: Oluwafemi Oladejo, Edge, UCLA
Sports Illustrated (Daniel Flick)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State: Likely an earlier pick if not for a torn ACL suffered in his second game, Winston is physical enough to play in the box while having the range and experience to line up at single-high.
96. Philadelphia Eagles: Kyle Kennard, edge, South Carolina
The Draft Network (Justin Melo)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
USA Today (Ayrton Ostly)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: S Kevin Winston Jr., Penn State: The Eagles have very few points of need on the roster but one of them is safety after trading away starter C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Winston offers a great skillset against the run at 6-foot-1 and 213 pounds but could use some development in coverage.
96. Philadelphia Eagles: DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
FOX Sports (Carmen Vitali)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona: The Eagles love the trenches, and they have some aging players along what’s known as one of the best offensive lines in the league. Continuing to add to it ensures it stays that way.
Athlon Sports (Luke Easterling)
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Bradyn Swinson | Edge | LSU
96. Philadelphia Eagles: Oronde Gadsden II | TE | Syracuse

Some quick thoughts:
- One could argue Howie Roseman has too much ammo to NOT trade up at some point on Day 2. Beyond tonight, the Eagles have one fourth-round pick and three fifth-round selections. They’re also projected to have 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, including three third-rounders.
- I like the idea of the Eagles double dipping (if you’ll consider it that) at edge rusher after taking Jihaad Campbell. We still don’t know exactly how the Eagles will use Campbell. Even if he is primarily rushing the passer, the Birds could still afford to add help there after losing Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat. Not to mention that double dipping at cornerback was a pretty good approach by the Eagles last year to help fix their CB outlook.
- If the Eagles don’t take a tight end today, does that mean Dallas Goedert is staying? Or could that increase the likelihood they trade for another one, such as Michael Mayer?
- Players who most intrigue me: TE Elijah Arroyo, EDGE Nic Scourton, OT Jonah Savaiinaea.
- Who do YOU want the Eagles to take?
