Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/24/25
Cooper Kupp was one of the best Los Angeles Rams to ever do it and as soon as he moved on from the team I wondered if they would miss his mind as much as his on-field ability. I don’t care that he didn’t have dominant seasons on paper year in and year out because what Kupp did do was put together one of the greatest seasons of all time. Oh, and he won a Super Bowl for the franchise while having that career year.
However, the team did decide to move on, and now the Seattle Seahawks will be able to pick his brain. Will the Rams miss the mental aspect that Kupp provided for so long? One thing seems for sure, Seattle is happy to have him.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: I’ve already learned a ton from Cooper Kupp (nbcsports)
“You go down the list of teammates that I’ve had, I’ve been blessed,” Smith-Njigba said, via the team’s website. “To have Coop here this year, it’s the cherry on top. I can’t wait to learn from him, I’ve already learned a ton from him in just two days and some text messages. Just to get a different perspective on the game is something I’ll always value and respect. I can’t wait. We sat next to each other in the meeting room today, and there’s going to be a lot of questions that I ask. That’s just how I am, that’s how I’m built, asking DK, asking Tyler, asking the guys who have been there before, and Cooper Kupp’s at the top of that list.”

First look at Cooper Kupp and Sam Darnold at Seahawks practice (sports.yahoo.com)
“The Seattle Seahawks are back in town, at least several of them, as the first voluntary offseason workout program from the team is underway. In attendance are Seattle’s two biggest free agent acquisitions: quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Cooper Kupp. With that, the 12th Man gets their first look at both Kupp and Darnold in official Seahawks gear.
While it may not be uniforms or even jerseys, I think all the 12’s can agree that the college navy looks good on them!”

7 players the Rams should pass on at No. 26 in the NFL draft (ramswire)
“No one knows what the Los Angeles Rams’ draft board looks like, other than the folks inside their building. We can assume which players they might be targeting and there are rumors about which directions they could go, but it’s impossible to know who their top priorities will be.
Looking at their roster needs and the players who are projected to potentially go as early as the first round, there are certain prospects Los Angeles should rule out at No. 26 overall. Whether they’re players at positions that aren’t pressing needs or prospects who don’t fit the mold of what the Rams are looking for, here are seven names the Rams should pass on in Round 1 on Thursday night.”
