Your 2025 NFL Draft Miami Dolphins Predictions

With the NFL’s 2025 Draft kicking off tomorrow evening, I asked the following question in last evening’s PQOTD post:

What do you think the Dolphins will do with their early-round picks? What will be their top priority in the first round? Please give us your first through third or even fourth round picks predictions. Give us just positions or even players you think they may target in each round.

Below are some of your thoughts and predictions for the Miami Dolphins in the 2025 NFL Draft

Francesco ITA wants more picks in the future, and I couldn’t agree more.

To me is more relevant if we will manage to get some extra ammo for the 2026 draft, when we will really decide our next 10 years…

SlayerNation1 believes the draft would be screw up proof if not for Grier being the guy that pulls the trigger.

It is almost (and I did say almost) a Grier-proof Draft.

Take the Overall BPA at 13 of any of the following: CB, DL, S, OL.

Because the 13th needs to be a Week 1 Starter, Defense is ideal as they would be under the auspice of Weaver, who seems to be the best of all coaches on the staff.

3 Picks in the Top 100 and they all need to be ready for Week 1.

I wouldn’t trust Grier in a trade scenario. He has plenty of picks as it is.

Grier/McD hardly constitute a War Room. Think more of a huddle at a Company Sponsored Retreat at a Paintball or LaserTag Center.

Yarganaught says it had better be a corner in the first. I assume it will be, but if a guy falls where Grier can’t help himself…well, you know the rest… I’m almost at the point that as long as he doesn’t spend a high pick on any more “projects,” I’ll be happy.

If the pick at #13 isn’t a CB… I won’t be happy with the rest.

Dolfanjoe wants to trade down. Hopefully, they will be able to with the amount of talent we need to add, but as it currently stands, it doesn’t seem as if many teams want to trade up, while many others want to trade down. Of course, many things can change once players start coming off teams’ draft boards.

Trade with a team who wants that TE or running back. Nothing has changed ! We need to be able to run the ball and stop the run. Take that guard late in the first, early defensive tackle and corner with the extra # 2 ! Fill the roster after that.

burstingfire has his own draft board.

My current board is still

DT Graham (little chance)

CB Barron moved ahead

CB Johnson

DT Grant

TE Warren

RB Jeanty (no chance he drops, likely goes top 7)

The 3 OL Campbell, Membou & Banks. At least one of them will be available, I just don’t like the idea of taking a college OT and moving him to G with the 13th pick. But I would understand the move.

The 2 SAF’s, I understand their talent level, I understand Miami really likes both, and I understand that our SAF unit is not talented. But with major roster issues at DL, CB & OL, I just can’t see us taking a SAF over those positions at 13. While I do have Warren on this list, it’s because he can block. Miami used an in-line TE at a very high rate last season. Warren would help every part of the OFF including blocking.

sdphinsfan gives us a mock for every pick.

I think it’s going to look something like this…

13: Jalon Walker LB Georgia

48. Xavier Watts S ND

98. Shemar Turner DT TXAM

116. Jordan Hancock CB OSU

135. Malachi Moore S Bama

150. Devin Neal RB KU

155. Mitch Evans TE ND

224. Tim Smith DT Bama

231. Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins GA

253. LaJohntay Wester WR CU

Grier will sign a vet G and CB after the Draft.

tpl has Miami trading down and then selecting a really good safety.

Miami will trade down out of the 13th spot to the late first or early second rounds.

Round 1: After Trade down Miami drafts safety nick emmanwori.

Bill Moody paints a very disappointing picture.

13:Some Guy, Starts Early to Mid season, plays OK his first year, has a little better than mediocre career.

48.Some Other Guy, looks to be the steal of the draft, traded off after 2 years

98.Yet Another Guy, slots and out of the line-up here and there for the next 3 years

116. Whoa, Another Guy, everyone is super high on him, he barely plays

The rest don’t matter.

MiMiami told Bill Moody, Hold my beer…

What do you think the Dolphins will do with their early-round picks? Well, Miami needs an offensive lineman or someone in the secondary. So that means we’re not getting any of that.

What will be their top priority in the first round? Many say secondary. The rest say offensive or defensive line. I can’t wait to see the reaction when Grier takes a Tight End.

Please give us your first through third or even fourth round picks predictions. Give us just positions or even players you think they may target in each round.

Knowing Grier:

1 – Tight End

2 – Wide Receiver… maybe a cornerback

3 – Quarterback

4 – The next Liam Eichenberg

Alley Gator has preferences that are worth making some noise over.

Still pounding the table for Donovan Jackson in the draft and Free Agent S Julian Blackmon.

13. Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

48. Donovan Jackson, OG/T, Ohio State

98. Wyatt Milum, OT/G, West Virgina

116. Alfred Collins, DL, Texas

135. Jamaree Caldwell, DL, Oregon

Well, that’s our random ten comments for this evening. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to the first post, feel free to add your predictions in the comments section. Thank you, as always, to everyone who took the time to answer our QOTD. Please be sure to join us tomorrow evening through Saturday, when the Phinsider will have complete coverage of the NFL draft and features on each of our Miami Dolphins selections.
