Nothing John Mara has said indicates Joe Schoen, Brian Daboll face win-now edict | New York Post
Of course John Mara needs to see improvement and feel better about the Giants. But there is no playoff mandate or win-now edit for Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll. And Mara is on board with the QB plan – and had to be convinced about Aaron Rodgers.
Russini: Overblown the Giants are divided on draft strategy, QB still possible at 3
From the conversations I’m having, the Giants do not appear to be a house divided as they plow ahead with what remains of their draft process.
But I don’t get the sense that these latest QB workout developments mean New York is eyeing one at No. 3.

Kyle McCord Says Giants Tested Him Most Before NFL Draft amid Steelers, Saints Visits | Bleacher Report
Kyle McCord is being put through predraft tests and interviews just like every other quarterback, but he said one team challenged him more than others. On The Rich Eisen Show, the Syracuse star said the New York Giants tested him the most during his recent visit.
“They definitely put me to the test,” he said. “They wanted to know how well you process things, how quickly can you pick up information. So, of all the teams, they definitely were the one that tested me the most, but it was good. It was a lot of fun.”

5. This is a class that is supposed to have some tight end depth, so it makes sense the Giants take another crack at the position despite selecting Theo Johnson in the fourth round last year. Brugler notes that Clemson’s Jake Briningstool is a “tall, lean athlete who understands how to maximize his catch radius and offers enough competitiveness as a blocker to fight for playing time once on an NFL roster.” Johnson showed promise, but building out the room with young talent isn’t a bad idea.
Giants have ‘significant interest’ in Washington State OT Esa Pole | USAToday.com
The New York Giants have reportedly shown interest in Washington State offensive tackle Esa Pole. Pole is seen as a developmental prospect as he has not played a ton of football. In fact, he did not play in high school at all.
Pole has become a steady performer, starting 21 consecutive games at left tackle for the Cougars the past two seasons. He is seen as a Day 3 pick in the 2025 NFL draft or undrafted free agent material.
