Our Miami Dolphins will play in their second game of the 2024 season this evening against their divisional rivals, the Buffalo Bills. While this is a short week for the Phins, it should favor Miami that they have yet to travel and will host this evening’s game. While Miami is coming off their home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars 20 to 17, the Bills are also coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday, 34 to 28.
The Dolphins have more or less been owned by the Bills over the last several years. A win tonight would go a long way toward winning the division this year and making a point to the rest of the world that Miami is no longer an afterthought but the team to beat in the AFC East. The Dolphins have dropped 13 of their last 15 games against the Bills, and some of the injuries, most notable those to Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane, will not help the effort, but the Phins need a win this evening to begin to flip the script in the future.

—My Pick: Miami Dolphins to cover. Miami comes in with an offense that struggled out of the gate in week one but seemed to find their footing in the second half, as did their defense. The Bills, who also won this past Sunday at home, allowed 28 points against an Arizona Cardinals team and offense that most do not believe is very good. Buffalo will also be without their slot corner, a weakness that Tua and the Dolphins will be happy to take advantage of this evening.
