There is still work to do at the position
The Las Vegas Raiders’ wide receiver position is a work in progress. Here is a look at where the position at this point in free agency:
New free agent added:
None.
They did sign Kyle Phillips off the street early in the offseason.
Free agent who departed:
None.
Current free agents:
Terrace Marshall
DJ Turner.
Free agents retained:
None.
Returners:
Jakobi Myers, Tre Tucker, Alex Bachman, Ramel Keyton, Tyreik McAllister, Kristen Wilkerson.
Draft:
The Raiders could take a player at this position as early as No. 6 or they could trade down in the round. If not, they will certainly look at the position on Day 2. The problem is it’s not considered as deep of a wide receiver class as in recent years. So, players like Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona), Matthew Golden (Texas), Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State) and Luther Burden (Missouri) could be early targets of the Silver and Black.
Conclusion:
There are some free agents left and the Raiders will likely add both veteran and rookie help at the position.
