Davante Adams is with the Los Angeles Rams, and he is able to share some of the factors that made him pick L.A., and some of those factors include him being able to play with Matthew Stafford and be coached by Sean McVay. Those seems like compelling reasons to me.
Of course, there is the money aspect, but Adams probably could’ve gotten decent money from a number of teams. With the Rams, Adams can compete for a Super Bowl now (is the plan) and get paid.

Davante Adams Lays Out Reasons He Decided to Sign With Rams This Offseason (ktla.com)
“Having the opportunity to play with Matthew [Stafford] is a heckuva opportunity and can’t wait to get started with that,” Adams told reporters at his Rams introductory press conference Thursday. “And obviously the rest of the team, too, being able to be with a contender at this point in my career is something I’ve been waiting for.”
“And obviously being a part of a great franchise and a great team that made a great push last year,” Adams said. ”I’m just here to be another piece to hopefully get them over the hump.”
Adams has played in multiple NFC championship games before with the Green Bay Packers, but has yet to reach or win the Super Bowl in his career. He has spent the past three seasons on the Raiders and Jets—teams that failed to make the postseason during that time. The Rams are just three years removed from their last Super Bowl victory, and nearly pulled off a comeback against the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles during the postseason this year.”
Regarding WR Cooper Kupp’s market, I’ve heard from a handful of teams that believe someone will be willing to offer him around $12M per year. That’ll be too much for some teams that aren’t in on him. But like anything in free agency, it’s fluid, and we’ll see if that number…

New Rams wide receiver Davante Adams reveals absurd recruiting tactic Sean McVay used to get him to Los Angeles (sportingnews)
“According to Adams, McVay sent Adams narrated highlight cut-ups of his game, which Adams said made clear how the Rams planned to use him to take their offense to another level.
One can only imagine how that narration sounded, considering McVay only has one gear and that is the gear of someone who just beer bonged nine red bulls and injected himself with a container of pre-workout. If that wouldn’t have been enough to get Adams to come to Los Angeles, likely nothing would have done the trick. Luckily for the Rams, it did work and they now have a tremendous tandem of receivers to lead their passing game.”

Jimmy Garoppolo Reveals Why He Re-Signed With Rams (si.com)
“The career of Jimmy Garoppolo has been a unique one. A Super Bowl champion as a backup to Tom Brady, the once heralded king of San Francisco was supposed to become the face of the league. With championship experience, a promotable smile, and a bizarre start to his tenure in the Bay, it seemed he was destined for greatness.
Garoppolo made good on his initial months with the 49ers after being acquired in a midseason trade, scoring a touchdown with no time left in his debut after coming into emergency service for San Francisco mid-game against the Seahawks. Garoppolo, who wasn’t supposed to play in 2017, ended up winning his first five starts to end the season after C.J. Beathard got hurt.”
