Sample is coming off a torn Achilles that cost him the entire 2024 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals have made another move to keep one of their own, this time by re-signing Cam Sample to a one-year deal, according to Tom Pelissero.
This will likely be a very minimal deal for Sample, who was a solid rotational defensive lineman prior to suffering a torn Achilles during the preseason that cost him the entire 2024 season.
If Sample can get back to his pre-injury form, then this will likely be a nice steal for the Bengals. But if not, it’s probably a one-year deal that will allow the Bengals to part with him when final roster cuts are made in August/September.
We will have more on this news shortly…
