The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills have released their second injury report of Week 2 ahead of their Thursday Night Football meeting.
The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills are already on to their second injury reports of Week 2 as the teams prepare to face off on Thursday Night Football. The turnaround from a Sunday game to a Thursday night contest is quick, with both teams estimating their practice participation for the Monday injury report. Tuesday’s updates have now been released, with the Bills issuing a full practice report while the Dolphins estimated their injury report based on a walkthrough.
The Bills did not make any changes from their Monday report, with cornerback Taron Johnson and defensive end Dawuane Smoot both non-participants in practice, Johnson with a forearm injury and Smoot with a toe issue. Running back Ty Johnson and defensive end Javon Solomon were both limited in practice; Johnson has a knee injury while Solomon has an oblique problem. The team listed quarterback Josh Allen, tight end Quintin Morris, and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky on the injury report, though all three were full participants in practice. Allen has a left hand issue, Morris a should injury, and Trubisky is dealing with a knee issue.
Miami also did not make any changes from their Monday injury report. Running back De’Von Achane, running back Raheem Mostert, and wide receiver Malik Washington were all non-participants. Achane is dealing with an ankle injury while Mostert has a chest issue. Washington missed last week’s game with a quadriceps injury and continues to be sidelined by it.
Offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg was limited in practice with a shoulder injury, with linebacker Jaelan Phillips likewise limited in the day’s walkthrough as the team continues to limit the stress on his Achilles injury following last year’s season-ending tear. Cornerback Jaelan Ramsey was also limited as he deals with a hamstring issue; Ramsey was listed as questionable with the injury ahead of the team’s Week 1 game, but played through the issue.
Linebacker David Long, Jr., was listed as a full participant despite a finger issue.
The Dolphins and Bills kickoff on Thursday night at 8:15 p.m. Eastern from Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
