Vikes Views: Which QB Would You Add to the Minnesota Vikings?

The Minnesota Vikings only have one QB on the roster. The draft capital is limited, so there likely isn’t one being drafted. There are several former starts and former Vikings that are available in Free Agency. Too many to do a deep dive, but if you could bring one in to pair with J.J. McCarthy, who would it be? There are a lot of names, but not a lot of quality.

Sam Darnold

Darnold is the obvious choice after winning 14 games last season with the Vikings. There are rumors the team might be working on a short term extension.

Kirk Cousins

Can’t bring him back, for obvious reasons.

Aaron Rodgers

Makes Kirk look like a good option. Rodgers is no Favre.

Russell Wilson

Wilson makes Rodgers look like a good option, he lost the locker room on a team that was winning.

Justin Fields

Fields would be a weird combination with McCarthy.

Jimmy Garoppolo

There are not enough single supermodels in Minneapolis.

Jacoby Brissett

Winston is only entertaining for fans who aren’t fans of the team Jameis plays for.
