When it comes to which positions the Cincinnati Bengals should target in the NFL Draft, the defensive line could be one of those positions.
The Bengals have some young talent on their defensive line with McKinley Jackson and Kris Jenkins Jr.
However, it never hurts to have depth up front on defense, especially when we don’t know if B.J. Hill is going to be on the Bengals in 2025.
SEC defensive linemen are always intriguing prospects. On Wednesday, the Bengals met with two of them.
Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen says he will not be participating in on-field drills at the NFL Combine because he “has some things to clean up.”

First, Ole Miss Rebels defensive tackle Walter Nolen, a projected first-round pick in this year’s draft who’s been a popular mock draft option for the Bengals.
Nolen describes his game as “violent & fast; how football is supposed to be played.” Rightfully so, as Nolen had 10.5 sacks over the last two seasons of his career.
That includes 6.5 sacks in 2024, a season where Nolen had 14 tackles for loss and 48 combined tackles. His additional two fumble recoveries also earned him Consensus All-American honors.

The Bengals also met with Georgia Bulldogs edge rusher Mykel Williams. In 12 games last season, Williams had five sacks, nine tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles in 2024 for the Bulldogs, earning Second Team All-SEC honors in 2023 and 2024. He too has been a popular mock draft target for Cincinnati.
Cincinnati is picking at No. 17 overall in the NFL Draft, which takes place April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
