There are always numerous storylines surrounding our Miami Dolphins during the offseason. Sometimes, they are positive, while other times, and far too often, they are less than favorable. One narrative circulating among various media outlets is that the current Dolphins head coach and general manager are entering their final season to prove they are guiding the team in the right direction.
Of course, last season was a massive disappointment. This time, the struggles were not on the defense but primarily on the offense, which faced significant challenges without Tua Tagovailoa under center for parts of the season. Even with Tua under center, the offense sometimes struggled as the run game went nowhere. As has often been the case, the fan base was left frustrated by the offensive line and its subpar performance across the entire unit.
The head coach has stated that one of their main focuses this offseason is rebuilding the offensive line or, at the very least, finally making a serious effort to invest in it. I’m sure the fanbase, for the most part, is collectively thinking, “Great, finally. What took you so f’ing long?” I’m also sure some of us will think, “Yeah, right, they’ll mess that up too!”
So this leads us to the Phinsider Question Of The Day: Do you think this new focus on finally getting the offensive line right is enough to get the Dolphins back to where they want to be and, in turn, save Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier’s jobs, or do you think it’s too little too late, and why? Maybe, you believe that they will screw it up somehow, and they are doomed either way.
