Giants need a running mate for Malik Nabers

Why Godwin could fit in New York
Darius Slayton’s future with the team remains uncertain, and the Giants still lack a true No. 2 receiver behind Nabers. Adding someone with Godwin’s route-running ability and experience could help stabilize the passing attack.
Godwin has been one of the most productive and versatile wide receivers in the NFL when healthy. He has the ability to play both in the slot and outside, giving New York’s offense some much-needed flexibility. If the Giants decide to draft a quarterback in 2025, having a proven veteran like Godwin could provide a much-needed safety blanket in the passing game.
Injuries, cost
One of the biggest concerns surrounding Godwin is his injury history. He is coming off a season-ending ankle injury, and in 2021, he suffered a torn ACL and MCL.
