Other Giant observations
What’s a realistic price for Giants to trade for No. 1 pick? | ESPN
The Giants’ first and second-round picks (Nos. 3 and 34) provide similar or more value than the top pick based on most modern draft charts. Even the Giants’ third-round pick (No. 66) and perhaps a 2026 second-round pick might provide enough value, if packaged with No. 3 overall, for the Titans to make such a move if they are not smitten with Ward or Sanders and want to defer their QB decision another year.
This is likely what it would take for the Giants to make such a move — No. 3 overall and Day 2 picks. Perhaps they could be asked to throw in another mid-round pick or future selection as well. If they are sold on either quarterback, that should not preclude them from making such a potential franchise-altering move.

Projecting every NFL team’s starting QB in 2025: Where will Aaron Rodgers, Sam Darnold, Justin Fields land? | Sporting News
Who starts in 2025? The Giants will draft Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He forms an instant connection with receiver Malik Nabers. This is the easy pick if the Browns pass on a quarterback. Sanders has the charisma to handle the Big Apple, and Giants owner John Mara is not going to allow another potential superstar to fall to another team. New York could look to add a veteran like Jameis Winston as a backup.

The Giants can’t afford to pass on a quarterback this year, perhaps making them an obvious landing spot at No. 3 for one of the top quarterback prospects such as Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders. New York could also pursue Sam Darnold or Justin Fields in free agency.
2025 NFL predictions: Super Bowl 60 picks, MVP, breakouts | ESPN
Pamela Maldonado, sports betting analyst:: The Giants trade up for the No. 1 pick to draft quarterback Cam Ward from Miami. The ripple effects across the draft would be wild, and pairing Ward with young talent such as Malik Nabers could be a thing of beauty.
Offseason Goal NFL’s Worst Teams Must Achieve to Contend in 2025 | Bleacher Report
Giants: Rebuild the Offense. Outside of Malik Nabers, the Giants didn’t have a player who tallied 700 receiving yards in 2024. The offensive line may have continuity, but Ben Rolfe of Pro Football Network ranked it 27th in the league. Oh, and there’s the matter of finding a new starting quarterback, which could be tricky if Ward and Sanders are the first two picks in April’s draft. It’s a lot to accomplish in one offseason, even with a top-three pick and over $43 million in cap space.

Potential NFL salary-cap cuts for all 32 teams: From Cooper Kupp to Davante Adams and more | The Athletic
New York Giants: Graham Gano, K. The Giants don’t have any albatross contracts to shed this offseason and they’re in a healthy enough cap situation that they don’t need to make any cap cuts. Still, a $5.7 million cap hit is excessive for the 37-year-old Gano, who has missed 16 games due to injury the past two seasons. The Giants can create $3.2 million in cap savings while eating $2.5 million in dead money by dumping Gano. That’s not an overwhelming financial impetus, but a team in the Giants’ position can allocate that money better.
‘Disappointed’ legend Amani Toomer to Giants: ‘Show me the baby, show me something to be proud of’ | New York Daily News
“I love Brian Daboll, and I love Joe Schoen,” Toomer said. “But at the end of the day this is not a personality contest. This is a results business, and the results just aren’t there. It’s not personal. I don’t hate these guys. I just want the results. It’s like, ‘Show me the baby.’ Show me something to be proud of….There should be nobody comfortable in that building. The last two years. I know the owner’s not happy. I know that for a fact. I know that the front office isn’t happy.”
