The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars released their inactive players lists for today’s Week 1 showdown.
The Miami Dolphins have released their inactive players list for their Week 1 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and good news is coming with the list. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report, is active for the game. The Dolphins did not elevate a practice squad cornerback earlier this week, indicating they expected Ramsey to be available, but now it is official.
The team must feel good about Ramsey’s availability, with cornerback Ethan Bonner included on the inactive list. Also inactive for Miami are running back Jaylen Wright, linebacker Channing Tindall, linebacker Mohamed Kamara, offensive lineman Andrew Meyer, and wide receiver Malik Washington. Washington had been ruled out of the game on the Friday injury report as he deals with a quadriceps injury; the other players listed are all healthy scratches from the game as the team reduces their 53-man roster to the 48 players allowed on game day.
Also active for the Dolphins is wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was detained by police shortly before the game for a traffic violation but was released and reported to the stadium.
The Jaguars side of the inactive list includes safety Daniel Thomas, offensive lineman Javon Foster, offensive lineman Cole Can Lanen, defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo, defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson, and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ledbetter. The team ruled out Thomas on Saturday as he deals with an Achilles injury.
Kickoff for the Jaguars and Dolphins is at 1 p.m. Eastern today from Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium.
