Boos greet the Chiefs as they entered the field while the Birds were showered with cheers and adulation.
There are many things you can say about fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, but one thing you can’t say is “they don’t travel well.” Videos and pictures have been pouring out on social media over the weekend of Eagles fans enjoying themselves on and around Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
Based on early returns from media members in attendance it would appear as though most of the fans who made it down to Louisiana also have tickets to the big game.
Judging from crowd noise, #Eagles fans outnumber Chiefs fans at the Superdome, at least at this stage. Loud boos whenever Chiefs players take the field for warm-ups. (Could also mean Eagles fans are just more vociferous.)

The Kansas City Chiefs are in their third straight Super Bowl and, while they’re going for history as the first NFL team to threepeat, perhaps some Chiefs fans have “Super Bowl fatigue” and didn’t make the trip to the Big Easy. Eagles fans have no such issues since the last time they were in the Super Bowl…they lost to these very same Chiefs and are no looking for revenge.

Hopefully the Birds will give all of these fans many reasons to cheer throughout the night on their way to the franchise’s second Super Bowl title ever!
