Eli Manning says he’s happy for the players who made the Hall of Fame | Pro Football Talk
“I was happy for the guys that got in. I competed against Jared Allen, I sent him a text, I feel like I kind of got him in because he sacked me so many times, I helped his resume,” Manning said. “Antonio Gates, when I was coming out, thinking about going to the Chargers, doing workouts with them, they were telling me ‘We’ve got this guy on the practice squad who didn’t play college football but he’s going to be a superstar, Hall of Famer,’ and I was like, Yeah, right. So happy for him.”
Eli: Giants need a veteran QB, leadership

“His arm talent is crazy. His sidearm is crazy,” Nabers said of Stafford. “The way he throws the ball, his angles, it’s crazy. He knows the defense. He’s a veteran quarterback. He led that team to the playoffs without those receivers he was playing with at the beginning of the season when they were hurt. Then when he got them back, he was able to do a lot of great things. I like the way he throws the football.”
Giants’ Malik Nabers open to sharing targets with top free agent Tee Higgins | New York Post
“I would love to have another guy on the other side, specifically a veteran guy I can learn from,” Nabers said. “Somebody that can take all the people looking at me. It would be amazing to try to get somebody of that level to come play with us, especially with Wan’Dale, too.”
Giants’ Malik Nabers finishes fifth in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting | SNY.tv
Nabers finished fifth in voting, garnering 30 votes — four third-place votes, 13 fourth place and 13 fifth-place votes. The award went to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Aside from Daniels, Nabers was up against some tough nominees this season. Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers finished second with Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix and Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Brian Thomas Jr. finishing third and fourth, respectively.
Former Giants Assistant Coach Suggests Why Giants Failed in Daniel Jones Era | SI.com
“Well, I’ll say this. Daniel came in and replaced Eli the legend. So that’s hard within itself, and how he handled that. But I think one of the biggest mistakes was not continuing the growth process with Pat Shurmur that first year,” said former Giants assistant coach Dr. Anthony Blevins, who worked with the team during the Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and Brian Daboll eras. “Because you just took a guy that was a rookie and you made him a rookie again and you went with a guy in Joe Judge that wasn’t an offensive guy, wasn’t an offensive head coach. You needed somebody that could truly develop the quarterback. And I don’t think, you know, that was the case.”

Deion Sanders sells son Shedeur to Giants (and others who need QB) | NJ.com
“Shedeur has started every game in high school. Every game in college, except one. And he’s prepared for this next level in this journey that he’s about to go,” Deion said, via X/Twitter. “And I think he’s the most equipped. He’s had seven different offensive coordinators. And you know a line that was always criticized, scrutinized, but he still stood and delivered. I think he’s the best one for the job for any city, and he’s the most equipped. Oftentimes we draft these quarterbacks that been on these elite teams. Now, they get in a situation where it’s not as conducive to their success and they choke. He’s always been up on the criticism. He’s always been scrutinized. He’s never had the best of, but he’s made the best of. So I think he’s the most qualified by far.”
