Dion Dawkins gave at least one rookie their “welcome to the NFL” moment in 2024: The Dolphins’ Chop Robinson.
Robinson was a first-round pick of the Dolphins and his team’s second game of his rookie year came against the Bills… and Dawkins.
Robinson, speaking to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, noted Dawkins as the player that really showed him he’s a professional football player in Year 1.
Robinson praised Dawkins, saying his skill impressed him.
