I’m honestly at a loss for words now. Not just because we are going back to the Super Bowl, that’s great. It is because of the absolute severity of the ass whooping we gave Washington. Yous remember the Washington Commanders right? The team so hot that no one would want to play them. The team with the rookie Phenom quarterback that beat up the Detroit Lions (at least what was left of them). The team that was going to shut down the run and force Jalen Hurts to throw.

Well, they didn’t.

Seven. There were seven rushing touchdowns. That is in addition to Jalen Hurts throwing for 246 and a passing touchdown to AJ.

The Eagles defense surely struggled against the red hot Commanders and Jayden Daniels though right? Using Micah Parsons math, and removing a few plays (like the interception and three forced fumbles), absolutely not. I won’t lie, the first drive didn’t seem like a good omen. The Commanders dinked and dunked their way down the field, making several fourth down conversions. Ultimately they were held to a field goal, and that set the tone of the game. The Commanders going so far only to be disappointed.
