Good morning New York Giants fans!

Pro Football Hall of Fame 2025: Eli Manning, 14 Others Await Fate | SI.com

Eli Manning is a fascinating case. While he was never considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the game during his playing days, he won two Super Bowls and was an integral part of both, each time taking down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Manning finished his career with 366 touchdown passes against 244 interceptions while never earning All-Pro status, but knocking off the undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl XLII carries major weight.

The difficult question the Giants must ask themselves about this year’s QB draft options | New York Post

The projection is what is most difficult. None of the prospects likely to be drafted are finished products, but some are closer to being finished products than others. Figuring out which is which is key. When it comes to the Giants’ search for their next franchise quarterback, the here and now cannot be all there is.

After the Shrine and Senior Bowl events, the Giants continue to explore every quarterback option in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Giants 2025 NFL Draft big board: What if NY doesn’t pick a QB in Round 1? | The Athletic

Can the Giants afford to draft an edge rusher with their top pick? It’s obviously not a pressing need after the team acquired Brian Burns last offseason to pair with 2022 top pick Kayvon Thibodeaux. However, Carter appears to have legitimate game-wrecking talent. Smart teams don’t often pass on those kinds of players, even if he doesn’t fill an immediate need.

So is Carter really that good? “Carter is the closest thing we’ve seen to Micah Parsons since … Micah Parsons,” Nick Baumgardner wrote recently.

Giants LB Bobby Okereke Likes This Draft Prospect for Giants at No. 3 | SI.com

“I think (Colorado cornerback/wide receiver) Travis Hunter is a generational talent,” Okereke told Baker Machado of Front Office Sports. “I don’t think you’re gonna see another player like him come across in a very long time.”

Is he bothered by the lack of clarity on whether Schoen will pick up the option or not?

“I mean, I was a high draft pick who came in with Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll,” said Thibodeaux. “I’m excited to see (what happens). If they don’t pick it up, I have the option to go to the market, which creates a whole other dynamic. Either way, I’m putting my best foot forward and looking to have my best season this season. Regardless of what they do contract wise, I’ve got something to prove to myself.”

Giants’ Bryce Ford-Wheaton underwent offseason shoulder surgery | USAToday.com

According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton has reportedly undergone surgery to repair a separated shoulder. Ford-Wheaton dislocated his shoulder multiple times during the season but played through the injury as a core special teamer. Ford-Wheaton will likely be sidelined during the spring as he recovers from the surgery.

2025 NFL Free Agency: 1 Player Each Team Should Sign This Offseason | The 33rd Team

New York Giants Charvarius Ward, CB (3 years, $45 million)

The outside cornerback spot has been an issue for the New York Giants for years. But the good news is that Andru Phillips looks like a star in the slot. Adding Ward would give them a viable No. 1 outside cornerback that could help slow down CeeDee Lamb, A.J. Brown, and Terry McLaurin in the NFC East.

2025 NFL Free Agency: Potential landing spots for top defensive linemen | PFF

Although Azeez Ojulari has produced reasonable sack numbers in his limited role, he has yet to display a winning consistency, failing to exceed a 9.0% pass-rush win rate over the past two seasons. Nonetheless, should Arizona or Cincinnati miss out on the big names in this class, Ojulari could step in as a spot rusher.

Why NY Giants fan is cheering for Saquon Barkley in Super Bowl 2025 | The Record

Saquon Barkley can win his first Super Bowl with Eagles, not Giants. That won’t stop all Big Blue fans from rooting for him, especially not this one.
