The Bengals add to their wide receiver depth.
The Cincinnati Bengals have signed wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley to a futures contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Tinsley will be a second-year player in 2025. He was originally a college free agent signee of the Washington Commanders in 2023. He played in two games for the Commanders in 2023 (no statistics) and was active/DNP in 15 contests. He then spent the 2024 season on Washington’s practice squad.
Tinsley played collegiately at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas (2018-19), Western Kentucky University (2020-21) and Penn State (2022). He will not count on the team’s active list until February 10th, the Monday after the Super Bowl.
