The Rams have rare back-to-back games against the same team in different seasons
How many times have the Rams had the opportunity to play the same team in Week 1 that they played in their last game of the previous season? I’m sure it happens sometimes with divisional opponents, but L.A. isn’t just getting a rematch with any old team, this is the team that directly tried to copy the Rams success by hiring Brad Holmes and making a trade that resulted in Jared Goff going to Detroit.
And it’s paying off.
The Lions are the popular pick to win the NFC and reach the Super Bowl, and 4.5-point favorites to beat the Rams on Sunday at home.
But those predictions are just based off of thin air and not any recent games between these semi-new look teams. Who will win and what do you expect to see? That’s the topic of today’s Reverse Q and A, the only “mailbag” in which the WRITER asks the questions and you, THE FANS, answer them.
I’ll post six Rams-Lions related questions in the comments below. Reply with answers, reply to other fan’s answers, rec your favorite responses, and even post your own questions to Rams fans.
And be prepared…I will, unfortunately, have to bring up the name Jared Goff and ask you what you think of him.
