And then there were only four. After another long NFL season, it comes down to just two games to determine who will go to the Super Bowl to decide who will ultimately walk away with all the cookies or at least receive a clownishly large ring.
In the NFC, it is an all-NFC East game, with the surprise of the playoffs: the Washington Commanders traveling to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. As of the time of writing this post, the Eagles are 6.5 favorites over the Commanders. The Commanders were underdogs against both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions, but here we are. The two teams faced off twice during the regular season, splitting those two games.
The AFC features the hated Buffalo Bills traveling to take on the reigning NFL champion Kansas City Chiefs. Everyone knows the Chiefs have won the last two Super Bowls, but the Bills are still hoping to win their first-ever Super Bowl. The Bills famously went to the Super Bowl four times in the 1990s, only to lose all four games. The Chiefs enter this game as a 1.5-point favorite. The two teams faced off during the regular season in November, with the Bills handing the Chiefs one of their two losses, 30 to 21.
Tonight’s Phinsider Question of the day is: Which teams will win this weekend to advance to the Super Bowl, and who will ultimately win the whole thing in February?
