Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson had nice exchange after Bills-Ravens (video)
Both quarterbacks from the Bills’ win over the Ravens in the NFL’s divisional round of the playoffs downplayed the narratives that surrounded them facing off.
Regardless of all the pre-game headlines, the Bills and Josh Allen ended their clash with a 27-25 victory. After the final whistle, Allen and the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson sure acted like they knew everyone would be watching the pair of them throughout the game.
The second the contest ended, Allen was on the field. As soon as it was over, he ran right to Jackson on his team’s sideline and the two embraced.
Jackson reacted to Allen doing so during his post-game press conference.
“Great players recognize greatness,” Jackson said via video conference. “We both recognized each other, you know? But I told him, ‘Man, go get something, go win something, man. MVP, Super Bowl, do something. I want him to be successful.”
