While Burrow isn’t mentioned in the court docs, there is an interesting update regarding the midseason burglary of his home.
Joe Burrow was once the highest-paid player in the NFL after inking a contract extension following his rookie deal last offseason. Even on his rookie deal, Burrow was already a multi-millionaire.
Being one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL, Burrow is often under the microscope by fans. It is easy to track where Burrow is and when he is out of town, especially when the Cincinnati Bengals take to the road.
That said, Burrow had his house robbed in December of 2024, and there may be a new clue as to who it could’ve been.
Per WLWT, there could be a break in the case as to who was behind the robbery.
“Alexander Chavez, Bastian Morales, Jordan Sanchez and Sergio Cabello face multiple charges including participating in a criminal gang, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, obstructing official business and possession of criminal tools,” Karin Johnson, a reporter for the television station, wrote.
“While the documents don’t specifically name Burrow, the investigator wrote that during a search of the suspects’ SUV in Clark County, they found “an old LSU shirt and Bengals hat believed to be stolen from the December 9, 2024 burglary in Hamilton County.””
Burrow wasn’t specifically named in the court docs, however, so it is far from a guarantee that the case is closed.
