Everything you need to know for the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
The CFP National Championship game will get underway on Monday night, featuring the Ohio State Buckeyes against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Atlanta for the final matchup of the 2024 college football season.
The Buckeyes are more than a touchdown favorite (-8.5) over the Irish (+8.5) heading into this matchup, and it should be a pretty epic game.
Ohio State finished the regular season with an incredibly disappointing loss to Michigan, but were able to bounce back in the playoffs to best Tennessee, Oregon, and Texas. Their win over the Longhorns was more of a nail-biter than the first two games for the Buckeyes, but the players stepped up in huge ways late in the game.
Notre Dame had a surprising loss in Week 2 to Northern Illinois, but then won 13 games in a row giving them quite the momentum heading into the championship game. Most recently, they beat Indiana, Georgia, and Penn State to get to this point.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ scouting staff will surely be keeping an eye on this matchup. There are a bunch of college players in this game worth selecting in the 2025 NFL Draft.
