Rams fans are confident headed into Sunday’s divisional round playoff game
After the Commanders upset the Lions on Saturday, the L.A. Rams are just one win away from hosting the NFC Championship game and three-fourths of their fans think that’s exactly what will happen. If the Rams beat the Eagles on Sunday, they will move onto the NFC Championship and host the Commanders next Sunday.
Though the Eagles are 6.5-point favorites at FanDuel sportsbook, 75% of us believe that the Rams will upset the Eagles on Sunday:
And 54% of us voted that the game will be under 43.5 points, the over/under total that was also set at FanDuel. A factor in some thinking the score will be on the lower side could be due to the inclement weather that is expected for the game. Some news outlets are reporting 3-5 inches of snow to fall in the Philadelphia area Sunday, which could limit what the Rams and Eagles will be able to do through the air.
At the time of this article the game was at 5.5 points, and it was basically a coin flip for who would cover:
The Eagles beat the Rams by 17 points in their regular season matchup, but that was a long time ago and few teams are rolling as hot as Sean McVay’s team right now, especially with Puka Nacua back in the lineup. Since Puka’s return, the Rams have won 9 of 11 games, not including Week 18.
The Eagles were one of those losses, but with the Commanders surprising win over the Detroit Lions, the Rams now have a chance to host the NFC championship at home with a win this Sunday. That extra motivation could be just the push Los Angeles needs to get the victory.
