New York Giants assistant general manager Brandon Brown will get a second interview on Monday for the Las Vegas Raiders vacant general manager position.
Brown, hired by GM Joe Schoen as second chair in the Giants’ front office in 2022, had a virtual interview with the Raiders last week. Monday’s interview will be in-person.
This is the third time in two offseasons that Brown, who was considered a fast-rising executive when the Giants hired him away from the Philadelphia Eagles, will receive a second interview for a GM job.
Last offseason, Brown had two interviews with both the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers. He was considered a finalist for the Chargers job.

It is interesting that despite the Giants’ struggles the past two seasons members of their front office and coach staff continue to be coveted.
The New England Patriots recently hired former Giants senior advisor to the GM Ryan Cowden for a front office role. Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, despite being pushed down to a non-play-calling role, interviewed with the New Orleans Saints for their vacant head-coaching role.
