Yes, there’s still football
Even though the season ended for our Minnesota Vikings just a few days ago, there is still football to be played in the National Football League, as the Divisional Round of the playoffs kicks off today with a doubleheader featuring the top seeds in each conference.
The action will start at 3:30 PM Central time on ABC and ESPN, as we’ll go to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs begin their quest for a three-peat as they host the Houston Texans. Houston knocked off the Los Angeles Chargers last week to advance in pretty impressive fashion, given that just about nobody expected them to win.
The nightcap will take us to the Motor City, as the Detroit Lions will host the Washington Commanders. Washington won a thriller last week over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get here, and now hopefully they can engineer an upset this evening.
Here’s how we’re picking this one, courtesy of the folks from Tallysight. Usual reminder about things being different for everyone depending on when they made their picks, and if you want the latest you can check out FanDuel.
If you’re going to be watching the action today, feel free to hang out and talk about it right here.
Enjoy the games, everyone!
