Probably not the smartest move to antagonize Eagles fans before a game in Philly.
Eagles fans don’t typically need any additional fuel to bring the noise for a home playoff game, but if they did, Rams rookie Jared Verse certainly provided some.
He spoke to the Los Angeles Times ahead of the NFC Divisional Round matchup and repeatedly voiced his dislike for the Eagles and particularly the fans, saying directly, “I hate Eagles fans.”
Verse went on to add , “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.”
The defensive rookie said this is partly based off his interactions with them earlier in the season, when the Rams hosted the Eagles.
“I didn’t even do nothing to ‘em,” Verse said, according the The Times. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans.”
Saquon Barkley was asked about Verse’s comments, and the running back acknowledged it probably wasn’t a smart move, saying, “Probably wouldn’t give them any extra fuel.”

“When I see that green and white I hate it,” Verse also said to The Times. “I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”
Looks like Verse is going to be very upset on Sunday at The Linc, which will be filled with the color he hates and the fans who will assuredly give him hell.
