5:14 p.m.: The Raiders are asking permission to talk to Pittsburgh’s Sheldon White for their open general manager job.
The #Raiders have requested permission to speak with #Steelers director of pro personnel Sheldon White for their vacant GM, source said. A well-respected member of their department.

6:24 a.m.: The Raiders are requesting to interview Tampa Bay’s John Spytek for the general manager job. Spytek was with Tom Brady with the Buccaneers and at Michigan.
Bucs assistant GM John Spytek is scheduled to interview for a second this week for the Raiders general manager job, per source.

6:18 a.m.: The Raiders put their first interview request for an interview for a general manager as they asked to interview Green Bay Packers vice president of personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan.
The #Raiders have begun submitting slips for their vacant GM job, and #Packers VP of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan has received a request to interview, source said.

9:12 a.m.: There is another head-coaching job opening as the Dallas Cowboys are parting ways with coach Mike McCarthy. There are now six openings.
Sources: Mike McCarthy is out as #Cowboys coach.

6:21 a.m.: NFL Media is reporting that the Raiders have requested an interview with Denver offensive coordinator Vance Joseph.
The #Raiders have requested to speak with #Broncos DC Vance Joseph for their HC opening, sources say. He has multiple slips this cycle and more could be coming. Denver had a top 5 defense and led the NFL in sacks.

11:12 a.m.: The Athletic has some notes on the Raiders’ coaching search, including some GM candidates being nervous about Tom Brady’s degree of involvement and the Raiders not feeling Deion Sanders.

8:21 a.m.: Mike Vrabel, who was a potential target of former teammate Tom Brady and the Raiders, has agreed to coach the New England Patriots. There are now five openings.

8:57 a.m.: Pete Carroll will interview with Raiders on Monday, according to NFL Media.
The #Raiders will spend Monday interviewing former #Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, source said. The Super Bowl winner also interviewed with the #Bears this past week.

7:58 a.m.: More evidence that Ben Johnson is the Raiders’ top coaching target.
As the #Raiders HC search kicks into gear, one name to watch: #Lions OC Ben Johnson.

12:22 p.m.: The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is still in play, but momentum is building for Pete Carroll. Still, the Raiders are just starting the interview process.
That said, a lot of momentum is building for Pete Carroll. In many ways, he is exactly what they need right now. Likely with a protegee/successor that comes on board with him.

8:29 a.m.: NFL Media reports former Jets’ coach Robert Salah will have his interview with the Raiders on Thursday.
Former #Jets coach Robert Saleh will interview on Thursday for the vacant #Raiders head coaching job, source said. He’ll have the #Jaguars two days prior.

7:12 a.m.: The Raiders have given Tom Brady head-hunting help in their head-coaching and GM search.
Sources: In addition to Tom Brady having a significant voice in the direction of the Raiders, I’m told the team has contracted Jed Hughes of Korn Ferry to help in their head coach and GM searches. Hughes is a well-known executive headhunter in the NFL.

6:30 p.m.: Pete Carroll is interviewing with the Raiders next week after a meeting with the Chicago Bears today. The 73-year-old is looking to get back in coaching after a year off and appears to have a market.

2:26 p.m.: The Raiders will interview Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn on Friday the same day they interview Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. Glenn is interviewing with five of the six teams with openings. He declined an interview with New England, another indication it is close to hiring Mike Vrabel.
Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn will interview for the Raiders HC job tomorrow, per source. So Jets today, Saints and Raiders tomorrow, and Jaguars and Bears on Saturday.
He declined to interview with the Patriots.

10:05 a.m.: The Athletic reports the Raiders don’t have an interview set with Mike Vrabel. He was expected to be a top target. Things can always change.

9:04 a.m.: The Jaguars have asked the Chiefs permission to talk to their defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo about their head-coaching job. The Raiders and Jets have done so as well.

7:20 p.m.: The Raiders want to interview fired Jets head coach Robert Saleh.
The Raiders are interested in speaking with former Jets head coach Robert Saleh for their head coach position, sources say. Because he’s not currently employed by a team, the Raiders don’t have to request permission to speak with him.

5:50 p.m.: The Raiders have requested an interview with Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who coached Brock Bowers at Georgia.

12:02 p.m.: It is now being reported that Johnson accepted the Raiders’ interview and will talked them virtually on Friday along with three other interviews.

11:44 a.m.: The Athletic is reporting is Ben Johnson has three interviews set up, but none with the Raiders who requested an interview. We will see if he takes an interview.

10:57 a.m.: The Raiders are staying in the AFC West for their next interview request as they want to talk to Chiefs’ defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, according to The Athletic.

8:18 a.m.: Sports Illustrated is reporting the Raiders have requested to interview Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. They are both going to be hot names. Also, it’s the first reported requests by the team.
