NFL Playoffs live chat: Wild Card Saturday, Chargers at Texans, Steelers at Ravens

The Wild Card round of the playoffs is finally here and Saturday has two games to watch: Chargers at Texans, and Steelers at Ravens. Come chat with us in our live thread!

The Wild Card round of the 2024-25 NFL Playoffs is finally here, and things kick off with an AFC doubleheader on Saturday.

Things start out with the AFC No. 5 Los Angeles Chargers (11-6) traveling to Texas to take on the No. 4 Houston Texans (10-7) at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS/Paramount+, followed by AFC No. 6 Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7) at No. 3 Baltimore Ravens (12-5) at 8:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.

Chargers at Texans

Date: Saturday, January 11, 2025
Time: 4:30 p.m. ET
Location: NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas
TV: CBS
Announcers: Ian Eagle, Charles Davis, and Evan Washburn (field reporter)
Streaming: Paramount+, NFL Sunday Ticket via YouTube, NFL+ Premium, and Nickelodeon (Live from Bikini Bottom)
Betting line via FanDuel Sportsbook: Chargers -3 points

Since the Texans were established in 2002, they’ve been in the postseason eight times, and every time, without exception, they’ve played in the Saturday 4:30 p.m. ET slot. Speaking of familiar places, Jim Harbaugh took the 49ers to the postseason in three of his four seasons as their head coach, and upon returning to the NFL this year, he’s led the Chargers right back to the postseason.

While there’s plenty of familiarity to go around, what comes next for the winner of this game is completely unknown. Depending on the outcome of the next two AFC games, the winner could travel to play the Chiefs, Bills, or Ravens—or potentially even host the Steelers.

Steelers at Ravens

Date: Saturday, January 11, 2025
Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland
TV (stream): Amazon Prime
Announcers: Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit, and Kaylee Hartung (field reporter)
Streaming: NFL Sunday Ticket via YouTube, NFL+ Premium
Betting line via FanDuel Sportsbook: Ravens -9.5 points

The Ravens are such heavy favorites in this game because they’re on a four-game winning streak while the Steelers are on a four-game losing streak. And make no mistake, this isn’t a case of one team getting a lot of breaks, while the other hit a bad batch—these teams look like they’re headed in opposite directions.

That being said, these are two division rivals with long histories that split their matchups this season and anything can happen in a rivalry game.
