Was it fair?
The Cincinnati Bengals have had a bad offensive line since Joe Burrow was drafted (and a little before).
Clearly coaching and development were big factors, but they’ve also whiffed on the majority of their NFL Draft picks in that period as well.
On Monday, the Bengals fired Frank Pollack, the offensive line coach and run game coordinator, along with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, linebacker coach James Bettcher, and defensive line coach Marion Hobby.
Yet again, the Bengals were one of the worst offensive lines both in pass protection and run blocking this year.

However, they struggled in large part because the interior of the line lacked talent and because the offensive tackles were dealing with injury.
Still, Pollack has had four years to develop his players and doesn’t appear to have done a particularly good job.
So what do you think of the move?
We talked about Pollack’s dismissal as well as the termination of defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo in our latest video.
