Thursday news and updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Wild Card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles listed two players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: A.J. Brown and Trevor Keegan.

Brown did not practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. The Eagles reportedly aren’t concerned about his availability for Sunday, instead maintaining that this rest was planned to help get him ready to play. Brown being less than 100% clearly isn’t ideal, though.

Keegan missed practice again due to illness. He’ll be a healthy scratch even if he’s not sick by Sunday.

The Eagles listed four players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Lane Johnson, Kenny Pickett, Will Shipley, and Jack Driscoll.

Johnson is listed with a “rest” designation. He’ll be good to start at right tackle.

Pickett was limited for the second day in a row due to his ribs injury. He’s still expected to be QB2, even though a healthy Tanner McKee should be playing over him.

Shipley was limited for the second day in a row. If the rookie running back can’t suit up, the Eagles could look to temporarily elevate Tyrion Davis-Price from the practice squad.

Driscoll is a new addition to the injury report. He’s listed with an ankle issue. Driscoll is typically the eighth offensive lineman active behind the five starters and then top two backups Tyler Steen and Fred Johnson. If Driscoll can’t play, look for either Nick Gates or Darian Kinnard to be active in his place.

The Eagles listed six players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Jalen Hurts, Nakobe Dean, Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra, Bryce Huff, and Byron Young.

Very good news for the Eagles: Hurts was upgraded to full participation after being limited on Wednesday. This development doesn’t necessarily mean he’s fully cleared the concussion protocol … but it does at least indicate he’s very close to doing so. By all indications, Hurts is on track to start on Sunday.

Dean, Goedert, Calcaterra, Huff, and Young were all listed as full go for the second day in a row.
