Friday, two days before the Las Vegas Raiders ended their season with a lopsided home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to finish with a 4-13 record, we asked our readers if they thought Raiders owner Mark Davis should fire Antonio Pierce as head coach after one full season.
In a poll with more than 3,400 votes cast, it was almost evenly split as the team was coming off of back-to-back wins against also rans, the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints.
Fifty-one percent of the voters were in favor of firing Pierce, while 49 percent of the voters thought he deserved to return to the Silver and Black for a second full season after the team played hard for him in a season filled with major injuries.
