The Bengals previously held off the Raiders and Patriots for Brown.
Cincinnati Bengals executive Trey Brown has been a hot name in recent NFL front-office openings, and that will continue this offseason.
According to NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero, the New York Jets have requested an interview with Brown.
It’s currently unclear if the Bengals will grant it.
The #Jets requested an interview with #Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown for their GM job, per source.
Brown, who functions as the assistant GM in Cincinnati, has been in the mix for several other jobs in recent years.

Brown was previously a scout for the New England Patriots from 2010-12. He later had stints working with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013-19), the Birmingham Iron (2019), and the Saint Louis BattleHawks (2020) before becoming a scout for the Bengals in 2021.
In 2022, Brown was promoted to senior personnel executive, and he’s served in that role ever since. He previously drew interest from the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots in their GM searches.
While the Bengals’ front office has been under fire for recent draft and free agency misses, Brown is viewed as one of the Bengals’ top personnel, so losing him would be a blow. Perhaps a raise and promotion are in order to keep Brown from leaving town.
