The Bengals will have another first-round pick in the middle of Round 1.
With the 2024 Cincinnati Bengals’ season over, their spot in the 2025 NFL Draft is finalized.
Back when the Bengals were 4-8, it looked like they had a real shot at a top-10 pick, maybe even the top five.
However, making the NFL Playoffs is more important than getting a higher draft pick, and thanks to a five-game winning streak, they had a real chance at making it there before coming up just a game short.
In the end, the Bengals secured the No. 17 pick following the Week 18 results. Of the non-playoff teams, Cincinnati has the second-lowest pick, trailing only the 10-7 Seattle Seahawks at No. 18.
The Bengals currently have five additional selections, pending trades being made and compensatory picks getting awarded. The Bengals traded away their seventh-round pick to the Chicago Bears for running back Khalil Montgomery, who took over down the stretch when Chase Brown was injured.
We’re on to the offseason!
